MAKU is a film produced by Funke Akindele starring Femi Branch, Shola Kosoko, Idowu Philip, Tayo Adeleye and many others.
Maku (Femi Branch) runs an agency where girls are pimped for the top men in society but he ran out of luck on one fateful day when one of his girls fled with a briefcase of money belonging to his client; The Mayor. In a bid to finding his daily bread, Maku is later introduced to a wealthy old woman by his friend; but that did not turn out well either when the woman’s son Gboyega caught them in bed and chased Maku out in rage. On the run to save his life, he bumped into TJ (Yetunde Ajiga) his old time friend who happened to be in the same compound as he is. In much embarrassment and frustration, he begged TJ for help and TJ did’nt hesitate to introduce him to the brotherhood cult where his wealth generates from. On the other hand, Titilayo (Funke Akindele) a respected young lady from a wealthy background, who takes great care of her father’s company and other businesses reunites with her old boyfriend Dele way back from the U.S and got influenced back to an old habit she thought she had longed buried.
